Now Supporting a Fort Collins Cat Shelter

Dig In Rewards members can now automatically donate to a Fort Collins cat shelter – the Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic.

Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic, with locations in Fort Collins and Loveland, Colorado, is a limited admission, adoption-guarantee, nonprofit cat shelter and low-cost sterilization clinic for both dogs and cats. The organization is dedicated to the well-being of all cats and dogs in our community with emphasis on preventing pet overpopulation and on the sheltering and placement of surrendered or abandoned cats into loving, permanent homes. The cat shelter opened in June 2006, and the spay/neuter clinic opened in March 2007.

Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic is a “Limited Admission, Adoption Guarantee Shelter.” This means they have to limit how many cats and kittens they take in due to space and financial restrictions, but they guarantee that every feline they rescue will be put up for adoption or will stay with us until it finds its forever home. They use humane euthanasia only as a last resort for critically ill or suffering cats and do not unnecessarily euthanize animals to free up shelter space.

Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic hopes to someday in the future be able to operate as an “Open Admission, Adoption Guarantee Shelter.”

They are 100% committed to every cat that comes to their shelter, and will do their best to make sure it goes to the perfect home. If for any reason an adopter cannot keep the kitty they adopted from them, they will always take it back.

Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic operates the only truly low-cost spay/neuter clinic in the area. The numbers of unwanted pets that will be prevented from entering this world brings an entirely new sense of satisfaction to all of the people involved.
